תּוֹלְדוֹת
Avimi bar Tovi was an amora of Eretz Yisrael in the fourth generation, among the talmidim of Rabbi Abbahu. The Yerushalmi relates that a non-Jewish woman once came to ask a question of Rabbi Abbahu, and he sent Avimi bar Tovi to answer her.
אבימי בר טובי היה אמורא ארץ ישראלי בן הדור הרביעי מתלמידיו של רבי אבהו.
