הרב יצחק יוסף הוא הראשון לציון וחבר מועצת חכמי התורה. כיהן כרב הראשי לישראל (הספרדי) בשנים 2013–2024. סדרת ספרי ההלכה "ילקוט יוסף", שחיבר על פי פסקי אביו, הרב עובדיה יוסף, נפוצה בקרב בני עדות המזרח וזכתה למהדורות רבות. על סדרת ספרים זו זכה בפרס ישראל לשנת ה'תשפ"ד, 2024.
Yalkut Yosef is an authoritative, contemporary work of Halakha, providing a detailed explanation of the Shulchan Aruch as based on the halachic rulings of the former Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. It was written by his son Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, who also served as the Rishon LeZion.
