About this Luach
This page is a halachic luach: the zmanim, the daily times that halacha sets for tefilla and mitzvot, calculated for your city for any date. Pick a city or use your location, step through the days, and the table shows the times for that day, with the Hebrew date, the parsha of the week and the daf yomi above it.
The zmanim shown: alot hashachar (dawn), misheyakir (the earliest time for tallit and tefillin), netz hachama (sunrise), sof zman kriat Shema by the GRA and by the Magen Avraham, sof zman tefilla, chatzot (midday), mincha gedola and mincha ketana, plag hamincha, shkia (sunset), tzeit hakochavim (nightfall), and the later tzeit of Rabbeinu Tam. On erev Shabbat and erev Yom Tov the table adds candle lighting, 18 minutes before shkia by default and 40 in Yerushalayim, and havdala at the end of the day.
