Biography
Rav Aharon ben Mordechai HaLevi of Rödelheim, born in about 5455/1695 in Rödelheim (near Frankfort) in Germany, was a translator active in the early part of the eighteenth century. In his younger years he learned in Frankfurt, and it was there that he put the two Targumim on Megillat Esther into Yiddish; the first edition of that work, which carries the title Mezah Aharon, appeared in 5478/1718.
Aaron ben Mordecai HaLevi of Rödelheim was a German-Jewish translator, who flourished early in the eighteenth century.
