Learn the Trop, Hebrew Cantillation
Parshat Beshalach, Shabbat Shirah: Israel leaves Egypt, the sea splits, and Moshe and the people sing Az Yashir. Then the desert: bitter water, the manna, water from the rock, and the war with Amalek. The song and the haftarah's Shirat Devorah give the Shabbat its name. About 25 minutes of leining, recorded aliyah by aliyah by a Master Baal Koreh with every word highlighted as it is read.

Aliyah 1 — Exodus 13:17-14:8
עלייה 1 — שמות 13:17-14:8Hashem leads the people by the longer way. Moshe takes Yosef's bones. The pillar of cloud and fire. Pharaoh's heart is hardened and he sets out after them with six hundred chariots.
Aliyah 2 — Exodus 14:9-14:14
עלייה 2 — שמות 14:9-14:14Egypt closes in and the people cry out. Moshe answers: stand and see the salvation of Hashem, Hashem will fight for you and you will be silent.
Aliyah 3 — Exodus 14:15-14:25
עלייה 3 — שמות 14:15-14:25Moshe raises his staff, the sea splits, and Israel walks through on dry land. The Egyptians follow, and their chariot wheels come loose.
Leining tip: There's a difference of opinion if one should say the special tune the first time in the parsha that "מִֽימִינָ֖ם וּמִשְּׂמֹאלָֽם" appears in this aliyah. We generally read it as regular trop.

עלייה 4 — שמות 14:26-15:26The sea returns and Egypt is drowned. Az Yashir, the Song at the Sea, leined in its own melody, and Miriam leads the women with drums. Marah, the bitter water sweetened.
Leining tip: When reading the "Shira" an easy way to remember when to include the special tune and when not, is if the pasuk has Hashem's name, we do say the special tune. For example - special tune here: יְהוָ֖ה אִ֣ישׁ מִלְחָמָ֑ה יְהוָ֖ה שְׁמֽוֹ׃ no special tune here: מַרְכְּבֹ֥ת פַּרְעֹ֛ה וְחֵיל֖וֹ יָרָ֣ה בַיָּ֑ם וּמִבְחַ֥ר שָֽׁלִשָׁ֖יו טֻבְּע֥וּ בְיַם־סֽוּף׃ Follow the recordings for the specifics. Also, it's the little things...notice the word in pasuk 22 וַיַּסַּ֨ע the accent is on the Samech. We emphasize the Samech "VayaSa" and not the Yud "VaYasa" Mikdash is pronounced mi-kdash rather than the normal mik-dash. The kuf has a dagesh kaved that helps distinguish the pronunciation. Here it means 'from kdash' rather than 'holy place'.
