About the Orchot Tzadikim on TorahSages

Orchot Tzadikim is a sefer of musar on the middot, written most likely in the fifteenth century, by an author who did not give his name; it was first printed in the sixteenth century, in Yiddish and then in Hebrew. The author opens by explaining his method: every middah a person has can serve him for good or for bad, and the work is to know each one and put it in its place. Then come 28 shaarim, one for each middah, often in pairs of opposites such as gaavah and anavah, with shaarim on teshuvah, Torah and yirat Shamayim at the end. It is written in plain Hebrew with pesukim and maamarei Chazal throughout, and it is learned in musar seder and at home.

TorahSages has the complete Orchot Tzadikim, all 28 shaarim, from Shaar HaGaavah to Shaar Yirat Shamayim.
