Aliyah 1 — Genesis 41:1-41:14
עלייה 1 — בראשית 41:1-41:14Pharaoh's two dreams of the cows and the ears of grain. His wise men fail, the butler remembers Yosef, and Yosef is rushed from prison.
Aliyah 2 — Genesis 41:15-41:38
עלייה 2 — בראשית 41:15-41:38Yosef interprets the dreams as seven years of plenty and seven of famine, and advises Pharaoh to appoint a man over Egypt. Pharaoh chooses Yosef.

עלייה 3 — בראשית 41:39-41:52Yosef is made viceroy at thirty, receives Pharaoh's ring and the name Tzafnat Paneach, and marries Asnat. Menashe and Efraim are born, and the grain is stored.
