בָּרוּךְ בֶּן נֵרִיָּה

Baruch ben Neriah was a navi who lived in the era of the Neviim. In the discussion in tractate Megillah, he is named in a list of those who received nevuah, where the Gemara teaches that Baruch ben Neriah, along with Seraiah ben Maaseiah, Daniel, Mordechai Bilshan, Chaggai, Zechariah, and Malachi, all prophesied in the second year of Daryavesh. This grouping places him among the later neviim active around the period of the return to Eretz Yisrael.
