רבי מנחם נחום היה מתלמידי הבעש"ט ומייסדה של חסידות צ'רנוביל, חסידות ממנה יצאו ענפי חסידות אחדים המונים כיום אלפי חסידים, בהם: טשרנוביל, טאלנא, סקווירא, ורחמסטריבקא.
Menachem Nochum Twersky, also known as the Me'or Einayim, was a Ukrainian rabbi, and the founder of the Chernobyl Hasidic dynasty. He was a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov and the Maggid of Mezritch, and published one of the first works of Hasidic thought. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Hasidic movement.
