רבי יקים איש חדיד

Rabbi Yakim Ish Chadid was a tanna of the second generation whose name is brought a single time in the Mishnah. His appellation points to where he came from — Chadid, a town of the Shefelah, the lowland country of Eretz Yisrael.

Together with Rabbi Yehoshua ben Chananya he gave testimony at Yavneh concerning a halacha, and that testimony is the one place his name is preserved.
