רבין בריה דרב נחמן

Ravin son of Rav Nachman was an amora. He appears in tractate Yevamot, where he addresses a point in the law of a minor girl (ketanah), explaining that her status depends on whether the marriage was consummated — if her husband cohabited with her the marriage takes effect, and if not, it does not. He frames this as her own reasoning, that each party considers the other the more worthy match, leaving her standing suspended until the matter is resolved.
