הרב אליעזר ב"ר יצחק פאפו היה פוסק ומקובל. חיבר ספרים והידוע שבהם היה ספר המוסר - "פלא יועץ", ולכן הרב מכונה לעיתים על שמו. שימש רב הקהילה הספרדית של סיליסטרה שבבולגריה ועמד תקופה מסוימת גם בראש הקהילה הספרדית בבירת ולאכיה, בוקרשט.
Rabbi Eliezer Papo (1785–1828) was the rabbi of the community of Silistra in the Ottoman Empire. He is famous for writing the Pele Yoetz, a work of musar (ethical) literature which gives advice on how to behave as a Jew in many aspects of life.
