About the Mishnah Berurah on TorahSages
The Mishnah Berurah is the peirush of Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan of Radin (1838–1933) known by the name of his first sefer as the Chofetz Chaim — on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, the chelek of daily life, tefillah, berachot, Shabbat and the moadim. Published in six volumes between 1884 and 1907, it goes through each seif of the Shulchan Aruch and the Rema, summarizes what the Nosey Keilim said on it — the Magen Avraham, the Taz, the Gra, the Pri Megadim, the Chayei Adam and many more — and then brings the halacha. It is learned in the Ashkenazi yeshivot and homes, and has become a standard quoted source for halacha on Orach Chaim. TorahSages includes the complete Mishnah Berurah with 697 simanim.
